Russia ‘can launch tsunami against US with nuclear bombs buried in ocean’

A retired Russian colonel has made outlandish claims that Moscow has planted nuclear missiles off the east coast of America that could trigger a tsunami if detonated. The far-fetched plans were outlined by Viktor Baranetz, who claimed it was a response to the US building up its military along Russia’s borders. “The Americans are deploying their tanks, airplanes and special forces battalions along the Russian border,” Mr Baranetz said in an interview with Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda. “And we are quietly ‘seeding’ the US shoreline with nuclear ‘mole’ missiles. They dig themselves in and “sleep” until they are given the command…” Any such tsunami would destroy cities such as New York and Miami…….Read More

Assad looking to buy latest Russian anti-missile system to fend off Israeli, U.S. attacks

IMG_0213Syrian President Bashar Assad said Damascus is negotiating with regime ally Moscow to buy the latest Russian anti-missile system to repel Israeli and American attacks. “It’s natural that we should have such systems,” he said, quoted by Syria’s official SANA agency on Thursday, the same day as Damascus accused Israel of firing several missiles at a military position near its international airport. “Israel has been committing aggressions on the Arab states surrounding it since its creation in 1948,” Assad said in the interview with Venezuelan channel Telesur. “It is natural for us to negotiate with the Russians now with a view to strengthening (our) systems, whether to face any Israeli threats from the air or the threats of American missiles.”……..Read More

U.S., Russia meet in Geneva on ways to secure Aleppo ceasefire

A man rides a bicycle near damaged ground in the rebel held besieged al-Sukkari neighbourhood of Aleppo

Senior U.S. and Russian officials held talks on Wednesday aimed at agreeing on how to separate al Qaeda-linked militants from rebel fighters in the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo so as to pave the way for a ceasefire. Michael Ratney, the U.S. special envoy for Syria, led Washington’s delegation while Moscow sent military experts whose names were not released. It was not clear if the talks would continue on Thursday. The Russians and Americans were joined by officials from regional powers such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but not Syria’s ally Iran which was not invited, a Western diplomat said. Russian Television Warns of Nuclear War Amid US Tensions

161013_gma_big_board4_0738_16x9_1600With diplomatic relations between Moscow and Washington at their lowest point since the Cold War, turning on Russian television can be an alarming experience. For the past month, Russian media outlets have been punctuated with reports asking people whether they are ready for nuclear war. “If it should one day happen, every one of you should know where the nearest bomb shelter is. It’s best to find out now,” according to one particularly fevered report on the Russian state-owned channel, NTV. Russia’s main current affairs show, hosted by a presenter known by critics as the country’s propagandist-in-chief, recently spent two hours warning that Russia would defend itself with nuclear arms. Russia Plots To Help Texas Secede From U.S.

th-4While the title of this story sounds like something you might read on the ‘What Does It Mean’ website of Sorcha Faal, the main point of this news actually comes to us from Politico Magazine and might help to explain Jade Helm 15 in its entirety. With this story in the New York Magazine telling us that according to a new poll, 44% of Texans believe that the US government will be declaring martial law during Jade Helm 15 while 43% believe that they will be doing gun confiscations across the state, Politico ran a story just days ago telling us that Vladimir Putin has a very special interest in Texas, and he’s got a plot in mind to HELP Texas secede. Talk about PAYBACK for the US secretly sending forces into the Ukraine to destabilize one of Russia’s closest neighbors, Moscow’s right wingers are teaming up with a band of Texas secessionists and if JH15 is any indication, Texans and much of America may soon get their martial law and gun confiscation if Politico’s story is correct. Europe’s manhandling of Greece is a strategic gift to Russia’s Vladimir Putin

greece_3260619b-1The European Union has presented Vladimir Putin with an irresistible strategic prize, on a platter. By insisting rigidly that Greece’s radical-Left government repudiate its electoral pledges and submit to ritual fealty – even on demands of little economic merit, or that might be unwise in the particular anthropology of a post-Ottoman society – it has pushed the Greek premier into the arms of a revanchist Kremlin. The visit of Alexis Tsipras to Moscow has been a festival of fraternity. On Wednesday he laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and spoke of the joint struggle against Fascism, and the unstated foe. The squalid subject of money was of course avoided. “Greece is not a beggar,” he said. “The visit could not have come at a better time,” said Mr Putin, purring like the cat who ate the cream.
