Indiana Opens Probe Into Possible Voter Registration Fraud in US Election

1038290883The US state of Indiana has opened an investigation into a possible voter registration fraud after authorities discovered registration forms containing different first names and birth dates from those provided by the actual residents, Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson said in a statement. “These records were changed on paper forms, at the (Bureau of Motor Vehicles) and online,” Lawson stated on Tuesday. “We believe this may be a case of voter fraud.” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and other critics have raised concerns about the possibility of widespread voter fraud in the 2016 US general election.
