Residents in fear after 35 TONNES of dead fish wash up in lake

imageAT least 35 tonnes of dead fish have washed up on the shore of a lake stretching as far as the eye can see.  Residents in a town in southern China were baffled after the gruesome discovery of biblical proportions. Wave after wave of the rotting sea life began to wash up, with the clean-up operation battling to clear the putrid flesh. The fish – members of the herring and sardine family – began floating on top of the lake over the course of two days. More than 100 workers toiled for hours to get rid of the fish, which were bagged up and send to be incinerated.
