India’s Deadly Heatwave Melting Roads

EPA_india_heat_wave_6_sk_150527_16x9_992A devastating heatwave has left more than 1,100 people dead over the past month in India, and photos also show the toll on the country’s infrastructure. Temperatures in the southeastern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana have reached 113 degrees in the past two days, The Associated Press reported. More than 1,100 people have reportedly died in the past month from heat-related causes in those two states, with at least 852 dead in Andhra Pradesh. Read Article
