inline_generic_afp_police_1adl0jd-1adl0jmTwo men have been arrested after police discovered a video purporting an ‘imminent terror attack’ was ‘revenge for incidents overseas’, police have revealed. Deputy Police Commissioner Catherine Burn told media police received information yesterday about a plan to ‘harm and possibly kill’ a member of the public in an attack ‘consistent with IS messaging’. Police acted immediately arrested two men aged 24 and 25 years old, and seized a knife, flag and video in Operation ‘CASTRUM’ led by the Joint Counter Terrorism Taskforce in Fairfield just after 4pm yesterday afternoon.
