‘Gray State: The Rise’ was the documentary David Crowley was working on, when he allegedly killed his wife, 5-year-old child and himself this past Saturday, on January 17th.
His friends, family and co-workers have said they do not believe this to be the true story. They describe him as a great person, with a promising career and an extremely happy home life.
They believe he was murdered – and this was duly reported in an article in the local Minneapolis-St. Paul newspaper, the Star Tribune, the region where Crowley and his family lived.
This RAW UNCUT version of ‘Gray State: The Rise’ has been released and is being broadcast here, to insure that versions of this explosive film reach the public.
Although this version is from nearly a year ago, it gives the viewer an idea, of the film’s direction.
In looking into this, I discovered that I had broadcast Crowley’s concept trailer, back in September of 2012, in support the very challenging work of an independent filmmaker.
He had come a long way in creating this film in the ensuing couple of years. My having been an early supporter almost makes it feel like a personal loss for me, as well. It also almost has me asking: “Am I next?”
